Dr. Armando Ponce
Founder & CEO
Dr. Armando Ponce is an experienced executive leader, speaker, and higher education professional with over 20 years of service in student development, athletics, and community engagement. A first-generation college graduate and the son of migrant farmworkers, Dr. Ponce has built a career rooted in service and transformational leadership.
As the Founder and CEO of MVP Collaborative Consulting, Dr. Ponce leads with a people-first philosophy—empowering individuals and organizations through dynamic training in leadership, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and team development. His expertise spans student development, Title IX compliance, behavioral intervention, project management, and large-scale program creation.
A former Executive Director of Athletics & Civility and longtime advisor to student governments and leadership teams, Dr. Ponce is known for turning bold ideas into impactful, mission-driven results. His story and his work continue to inspire students, professionals, and institutions to invest in what matters most—people.
Dr. Angel Reyna
Dr. Ángel Reyna is the President of Madera Community College and a trailblazer in higher education leadership. Appointed in 2019 as the college’s first on-campus president, Dr. Reyna guided Madera to a historic milestone—earning independent college status in 2020—making it California’s newest community college. Under his leadership, Madera has been recognized as a 2022 Equity Champion of Higher Education and the national winner of Lumina Foundation’s “Million Dollar Community College Challenge.”
A first-generation college graduate and former migrant farmworker, Dr. Reyna’s journey embodies resilience, purpose, and the transformative power of education. His distinguished career includes executive leadership roles at Renton Technical College, Walla Walla Community College, and Yakima Valley Community College, where he championed equity, access, and workforce innovation.
Beyond academia, Dr. Reyna has served his community as Mayor of Mabton, Washington, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to public service and opportunity for all. He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University and advanced degrees in Educational Administration and History Education from Washington State University.
Through his keynote, “The Power of Education,” Dr. Reyna shares his inspiring personal story and challenges audiences to recognize education as the greatest equalizer—one capable of transforming individuals, families, and entire communities.
Daniel Garza
Trainer
Is a proud graduate of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a firm believer that true growth is born from challenge. Daniel has built his life around perseverance and purpose — as a Golden Gloves boxer, a 1st-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and a multi-sport competitor. These experiences taught him that greatness isn’t achieved through comfort, but through resilience, discipline, and belief in one’s potential. Beyond the mat and the ring, Daniel has had the honor of coaching professional athletes, elite competitors, and individuals striving to reach new heights in their respective fields. Yet, his greatest victory isn’t measured in medals or achievements — it’s found in helping others rise. Daniel's mission is to educate, inspire, and transform lives through the power of higher education and personal growth.
With over a decade of experience in leadership development, student engagement and fitness, he has dedicated his career to empowering others to unlock their potential and build the confidence to lead. As the Associate Manager of Engagement for Texas State Technical College, Daniel designs programs and experiences that challenge students to grow, take ownership of their journey, and discover the leaders within themselves.
Daniel lives by the motto that success is not a destination — it’s a mindset. With the right guidance, grit, and heart, anyone can rewrite their story and make a lasting impact in their community. His purpose is simple: to help others find the strength to keep fighting, keep growing, and become champions in their own arena.

Dr. Brian McCormack is a seasoned counselor, educator, and performance consultant with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals and organizations achieve measurable personal and professional growth. His integrated approach combines counseling, coaching, and performance psychology to enhance mental wellness, leadership capacity, and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
As a Licensed Counseling Professional and Founder of MVP Collaborative Consulting’s Integrated Performance Division, Dr. McCormack empowers clients to think clearly, lead confidently, and grow through challenge. His evidence-based methods — rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies — equip leaders, educators, and athletes to manage stress, improve focus, and sustain peak performance.
Dr. McCormack’s expertise spans counseling and emotional wellness, leadership and performance coaching, and organizational consulting. He has designed and facilitated training programs that elevate communication, engagement, and team culture across diverse industries.
Known for his empathetic yet strategic coaching style, Dr. McCormack helps clients develop clarity of purpose, mental resilience, and lasting growth.
